BIOGRAPHY<\/h3>

Mexico (1968) William Gaber\u2019s work addresses two main themes: on the one hand, the human condition \u2014 in its aspects of constant mutation, mobility, adaptability, and conditioning with respect to the social environment \u2014 and, on the other hand, architecture, as a testimony of historical memory and as a container and influence in the intimate experience of being.\n\nA multidisciplinary artist by definition, Gaber explores the processes of change, migration (not only of country but of skin), adaptability, survival, and the inescapable fatality of historical evolution, to which he refers with irony and a sense of humor.\n\nAt the same time, his language is nourished by architecture \u2014 not only for its aesthetic or formal qualities, but for its possibilities as a container, modifier, and testimony of the human experience.\n\nGaber\u2019s childhood and formative period as an artist were spent amid the tropical landscape of the Yucat\u00e1n and the vernacular architecture of M\u00e9rida, which served as an aesthetic background and sounding board for his first explorations. Hence, to this day, his exultant use of color and his consonance with the Mexican school of painting.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

BIOGRAFIA M\u00e9xico (1968) es un artista que divide su tiempo entre Ciudad de M\u00e9xico, Yucat\u00e1n y Madrid (Espa\u00f1a). Gaber ha desarrollado su vocaci\u00f3n de manera autodidacta, a la vez que ha estudiado bajo la tutela de diferentes maestros en M\u00e9xico y en programas cortos en escuelas reconocidas como el Royal College of Art en Londres, Inglaterra. Tambi\u00e9n ha trabajado como ayudante en talleres de artistas reconocidos. Tiene tres obras p\u00fablicas y obra tanto en colecciones privadas como en instituciones. El trabajo de William Gaber explora diferentes medios como la pintura, el dibujo y la escultura.
